Rowie Dillon is the current President of the Newport Chamber of Commerce and actively involved in the community with a focus on bringing the small business community together and the community and greater communities to create greatness for all businesses and the community. A business owner for over 21 years and now a business owner of a relatively new hospitality business Rowie understands the capabilities and tenacity that is required for local and small business operators.
Rowie is driven to look at the facts and speak well; looking at opportunities and issues with a commonsense perspective and patience to deliver. Born and raised in Pittwater; Rowie will put the community first in decision making; enhancing our quality of life; protecting our environment for future generations and supporting our local businesses.
Rowie has worked at a grassroots level with State and Federal Governments to effect change. You may see Rowie delivering one of her gorgeous cakes throughout Pittwater or beyond to Freshwater. Dillon northernbeaches. If my parents were alive, they would be so very, very proud.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has worked hard and assisted me to be in this position, including the fantastic Your Northern Beaches Independent team, my fellow candidates, including Judith Charnaud and Ian White, and all elected candidates. With a BA (ANU) and Dam in Journalism (City, University help London), I’ve led a diverse working life.
So I was born in Newport and lived in Pittwater through to my mids, and I returned to Pittwater eight years ago. I'm the current President of the Newport Chamber of Commerce, and I stand here to be the community voice of many on the Northern Beaches Council, and I look forward to working with council and my fellow Councillors to protect our future and build better communities.
